Challenge
Shawnee Country Club (SCC), a premier private club in Lima, Ohio, needed to expand its digital
presence, improve member engagement, and showcase its unique amenities to attract new
members. While SCC had a loyal base, its marketing efforts lacked the consistency, creativity,
and reach needed to position the club as the region’s premier lifestyle destination.
 

Solution
In May 2025, Shawnee Country Club partnered with Unicent Marketing & Management for a
90-day social media marketing initiative. Our team executed a multi-layered strategy designed
not only to grow visibility online but also to elevate the member experience inside the club.

Key initiatives included:
-Social Media Strategy &  Execution: Consistent, high-impact content across photo,
video, and event posts.

-Professional Storytelling: Hired a drone videographer to produce a cinematic video
tour of the golf course, clubhouse, pool, and courts.

-Community Engagement: Encouraged members to submit event photos, creating
organic, authentic content.

-Revamped Marketing Collateral: Redesigned the Smoke Signal newsletter,
membership packets, digital signage, and menus.

-Member-First Approach: Delivered beyond scope—ensuring every marketing
touchpoint elevated SCC’s brand.
 

Results
The results over the 90-day campaign were remarkable:

-346,311 Views – a 206% increase over the previous 90 days (up from 113K).

- 5,295 Interactions – a 149% increase, with photo content leading engagement.

- 861 Followers – a 104% growth in digital audience, balanced across men (48%) and
women (52%).

- New Membership Growth – direct impact as new members joined during the campaign.

- Community Participation – dozens of members shared photos and stories,
strengthening connection.
 

Conclusion
What began as a 90-day plan quickly proved to be a transformative success. Unicent Marketing
delivered more than promised—combining data-driven growth with community-focused
storytelling. The partnership not only boosted visibility and engagement but also reinforced
